breakfast time

Last Thursday, my friend Vera and I went for breakfast at Parma Café. This Italian coffee shop is located on Bishop street in downtown Montreal. I love going there for lunch but they just released a breakfast menu, which I was very excited about. I remember tasting one latté there and it was very tasty, so I couldn’t wait to go back!

As we sat down, we ordered our food and coffee. One latté (amazing) and one cortado (amazing, too). I decided to order the oatmeal with fruits, with a Nutella croissant. Vera ordered egg and cheese bagel. I like how simple is the menu! It’s not a brunch place, but simply a breakfast place which I think is unique and different. My fave thing was definitely the blueberries oatmeal garnished with cinnamon and honey. So good and perfect for the cold days.

We spent 2 hours there, catching up and chatting about life. We had a great time and a great start to our days. I really recommend going there with a small group of friends or on a date! It is calm in the morning and I love the very welcoming Italian vibe.

Parma is open 7/7, starting at 8 during the week and 9:30/10:00 on the weekends. To take a look at their full breakfast menu, click here.
